Great Happiness!
Alas, victory is ours! “GREAT HAPPINESS”! Our loyal troops have won it for our kingdom. Down with that horrendous Norwegian flag that pierces my heart and that army “assisted by that most disloyal traitor, the Thane of Cawdor”. With the help of Banquo, our great Macbeth has brought Scotland to victory. The moment I heard the bloody sergeant announce the great deeds of Macbeth; my heart became enlightened with pride of having such an honorable kinsmen in my kingdom. Macbeth has truly shown his righteousness, loyalty and courage to our land. According to the sergeant, after fighting through a strong army, another one seemed to appear as reinforcements, but our Macbeth never backed down. For this victory, I do not believe I could possibly thank or repay our loyal Macbeth enough. Though I am devastated by the betrayal of that deceitful thane, I shall not waste time and honor Macbeth with his new title, Thane of Cawdor. I am confident that our new thane will remain loyal to our Scotland and make me as proud as he has made me today.
I can only think of one song right now, and that is... Victory Song - Ensiferum. This song greatly reminds me of Macbeth and Banquo in battle. I am proud to have them as members of my council and kingdom.
"Arrows are raining from the sky
As brothers fight side by side
We're outnumbered
But our destiny is to win
FIGHT!
Fight with the rage of a bear!
DEFEND!
Our homeland!
CRUSH!
Crush every enemy!
AND SEAL!
Our victory!
Swords in their hands they killed each and every man
Who dared to invade their sacred land
Victory songs are raising in the night
Telling all of their undying strength and might"

Blunt Betrayal - Rajeeth
Never would I have thought that I would be asking Malcolm on how the execution of my greatest thane is progressing, but here I am. I entrusted him with full control of Cawdor and what does he do? He switches sides mid-battle and starts mocking us with the devilish flag of the opponent. It shatters my heart to see (who I thought was) a fellow royal deceive me in such blunt fashion. He was practically my other son; Malcolm even treated him as a brother. He is a betrayer, that is true, but I thought much higher of him. He was the person that I worried least about; I had put all my faith into him and his decisions. Loyal since day one, he would show you and me the greatest of respect. His leadership skills could be matched by few; he fit the role as thane perfectly. He had a physical build that would scare the best of warriors yet he had a face so innocent it would make the angels jealous. My ideology on this issue can only be summarized like the following, “There’s no art to find the mind’s construction in the face. He was a gentleman on whom I built an absolute trust.” To think that he just confessed his treasons, and is now asking for my forgiveness is absolutely sickening. He has betrayed us all, and we will make him pay. We, here in Scotland, do not take treason lightly. We will strike him and his associates the way we stroked the Norwegians, with brute force and we will not feel even an ounce of remorse. We must send a clear message that we do not, repeat NOT, let the dishonourable walk free. Be a thane or a peasant, it does not matter, a traitor is a traitor. I must admit, though, this is harder than I originally thought when I first heard of the news. How could we let someone of that nature slide under our noses? I am part responsible and for that I am truly apologetic for my misinterpretation, but we must forget and move on. We cannot let one traitor undermine the actual result of the battle in which we were victorious. We are entering a new era, and we are progressing on a positive path full of prosperity and peace; we must never forget this.
Music Lyrics that Relate to Me (Avenged Sevenfold - Betrayed):
Passion in my eyes, I lived it everyday, but how could you go and throw it all away...
I feel it burn inside, burning me like the rising sun
Lifted into the sky, took away the only thing I loved
I know after tonight all your power crumbles in my arms
A smoking gun in hand, now don't you realize what you've done
Put a bullet in his back, your hero since you were so young
How could you kill the man who brought salvation through your pain...

Arrival at the House of my Newly Crowned Thane
I did not expect the house of my newly crowned Thane of Cawdor, to be so welcoming. Their home is so heart-warming that birds too were nesting upon it. Our host and his wife showed us great hospitality upon our entrance and made me feel as if I was at home. I can definitely feel the positive effect Macbeth with have on Scotland as Thane of Cawdor. I still somewhat dwell upon the betrayal of that devious thane before Macbeth, but remind myself that we must move on for the sake of our kingdom. Resting here in Macbeth’s chambers makes me feel a sense of pride that I am in the home of one of my most worthy men. I lay my trust upon Macbeth, just as I did upon the untrustworthy previous thane. But I am assured that Macbeth will not play with my trust and will honor the title I have given him. Although, I do feel that I must stay aware of my surroundings, not only for myself but also for the well-being of my nation.
This great visit to my thane's house is reminding me of that wonderful song "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast...
"We'll keep going
Course by course
One by one
'Til you shout, "Enough! I'm done!"
Then we'll sing you off to sleep as you digest
Tonight you'll prop your feet up
But for now, let's eat up
Be our guest!
Be our guest!
Be our guest!
Please, be our guest!"
